Impressive debut
Special correspondent Rolls Hanover was an impressive winner when having his first race at Forbury Park on Saturday evening. He was slow early, then three wide over the last 1200 m, but drew out by five lengths in the run home.
He is a four-year-old by Vance Hanover from Black Gem (by Bay Foyle), trained by Paul Newton, who races him with his brother, Tim.
