Outright defeat for Canty

PA Auckland Dipak Patel yesterday tore the heart out of the Canterbury innings, taking three wickets in seven balls after lunch in the Shell Trophy match at Eden Park. Earlier in the season against the Cantabrians the Worcestershire professional, aged 28, scored 174 and took eight wickets.
