$2000 for top doe
Angora G2 does averaged $9OB at an Angora grade goat sale at the Addington Show Grounds yesterday. The top price G2 doe sold for $2OOO. Auctioneers described the clearance of about 350 goats as most satisfactory. The buying power was considerably stronger than that at a recent Angora grade sale in Timaru, although prices have dropped about 50 per cent since late last year.- ; ' G 3 does sold between $225 and $9OO to average $470; G 4 does made $l6O to $425 to average $269; G 3 doe kids averaged $342; and G 4 doe kids averaged $204. G 1 bucks averaged $907 and the top price was $2600.
