Weird and wacky games
Teams from Invercargill and Oamaru will be subjected to some of the weirdest and wackiest games when the first quarter-final of “L & P Top Town” screens on One this evening at 7 p.m.‘
The hosts, Bill McCarthy and Paddy O’Donnell, will put the teams through their paces down slippery slopes, into dunking pools and even three-person sack races, with the Olympic triple gold medallist, lan Ferguson, as the superjudge.
Next week Nelson and Greymouth will meet in what is likely to be as much a battle of wits as a test of brute strength.
In the following weeks Wanganui, Manakau City, Whangarei, Fielding, Gisborne, and Waihi will complete for a spot in the final to determine which town takes home the “L & P Top Town” trophy this year. .
