McConnell Dowell Corporation shareholders have approved the issue of up to 14.5 M ordinary 50c shares to help finance the corporation’s takeover of City Realties, Ltd.
The shares will be issued for cash at a 55c premium by March 31, the company’s extraordinary general meeting in Auckland decided.
Up to 1.5 M shares will be allocated to company and subsidiary employees through its employment share purchase scheme trustees, shareholders resolved.
The Stock Exchange said shareholders approved new articles of association and an amendment to the memorandum of association.
