PA Wellington Two farm cadets have been awarded Federated Farmers scholarships to spend six months in Britain. Graeme Alder, aged 20, of Hamilton, and Barry Bishop, aged 20, of Ashburton, will travel to Britain aboard container ships. During their time in Britain they will stay with farming families. A reciprocal exchange is available for young Brit-
ish farmers visiting New Zealand. Mr Alder, a fourth-year cadet, will study British dairying and how it differs from New Zealand methods. Mr Bishop, in his fifth year, will study meat marketing and production of sugar beet, a potential crop for Canterbury,
