Does bought for $500,000
PA Wellington Two Auckland businessmen, Messrs Max Taylor and Frank Varney, have bought 32 cashmere-pro-ducing does from two top Australian goat studs for more than $500,000. The businessmen said the goats were bought from Lismore Cashmere
Breeders and the University of Melbourne. The goats are for their Cashmere Downs stud at Ramarama, near Auckland. Mr Taylor said the two had an option to buy topline bucks from both the Australian studs, and from others across the Tasman.
