Woman hurt in crash

A woman was taken to Christchurch Hospital with moderate head injuries last evening after the car she was travelling in struck a pole on Halswell Road, near Tankerville Road.

The accident happened about 8.5 p.m.

A man, aged 20, was taken to Christchurch Hospital after a car and motor-cycle collided at the junction of Ferry Road and Moorhouse Avenue, about 7.35 p.m. The motor-cyclist had serious leg injuries.
