Mighty Me in Brisbane

The double Derby winner, Mighty Me, has been sent to Brisbane to be trained by John McMullen.

If he makes satisfactory progress he will contest the Inter-Dominion Championship series at Albion Park in April. Mighty Me won 11 races and about $140,000 in stakes for his Yaldhurst trainer, Colin McLachlan, who raced him in partnership with his wife, Sylvia. “I’m going to enter him for the championships, but will wait and see how he settles in to racing at Albion Park before deciding whether to continue with those plans,” said McLachlan yesterday.
