Master Mood at cramped odds
Special correspondent Dunedin Master Mood, the winner of his last four starts, will be at cramped odds for the second heat of the Anngow Motors Championship, the second leg of the T.A.B. double, at the Forbury Park Trotting Club’s meeting this evening.
Master Mood decisively won the Wellington Cup at his most recent start a
fortnight ago. He won by two lengths from Pixanover with a length and a half to Loveridge, in the mobile 2900 m event. He won over 2400 (mobile) on the first night; of the Wellington meeting and has had-wins at Addington and Rangiora (from a standing start) in recent weeks.
The open-class pacer is on 20m in the 2200 m event tonight and shares that mark with Chipaluck
and Titan Chip, both on C 7.
Chipaluck regained winning form at Washdyke on January 18 and followed up with a win at Addington last Wednesday. She should make a race of it with Master Mood.
Mac Andrew, which finished second to Amazon Princess on the first night after racing in the open, is chosen for the first leg of the T.A.B. double
