New chairman
PA Wellington Further moves reflecting the Bexley Group, Ltd, control of a listed Welling-ton-based investor, Invesco Group, Ltd, were announced yesterday. A Bexley director, Mr lan Ward, has been appointed acting chairman of Invesco and the Bexley chief executive, Mr Chris Jones, has been appointed
to the Invesco board, following the resignations yesterday of the chairman, Sir Russell Pettigrew, and Mr C. G. Perrin as directors.
Mr Ward was previously appointed a director of Invesco following Bexley’s purchase .of a 19.9 per cent interest in Invesco from Challenge Corporate Services, Ltd.
