Timaru’s Top Town team won its semi-final clash against Nelson and Greymouth on Saturday.

Timaru took the honours with 24 points on its home ground, Fraser Park, while the other two teams tied on 16 points. Saturday’s action will be screened on television on February 8 and Timaru now goes on to contest the final in Wellington on February 15. The team won S2OM for its efforts which will gotowards the development of Centennial Park. The successful Timaru team was:—Paul Annear (coach), Sally Wood, Janie Annear, Shane Williams, Paul Morris, David Hawkey, David Mclnnes, Stephanie Eggelton, Warwick Norton, Craig Dorgan, Dean Hammond, Roger Rae, Atholea Shanks, Correen Ross, Leonie Todd, Martina O’Toole, and Jill Watt
