NZPA-Reuter Bremen, West Germany A man who stole a painting by nineteenth century German master Carl Spitzweg has returned it to Bremen’s Art Museum after failing to sell it. A museum spokesman said that the man, whose identity was not known, had the picture delivered to the museum director’s home.
