Yachting series

Wind will be hoped for more than usual when the fourth race in the 1985-86 Dorlon twilight yachting series is sailed on Lyttelton Harbour tomorrow evening.

The third race had to be abandoned after a lack of wind resulted in none of the vessels finishing within the prescribed time limit. It will be re-sailed on February 19. The six-race series, organ-

ised by the Banks Peninsula Cruising Club and the Canterbury Trailer Yacht Squadron, is run in two divisions, one for keelers and one for trailer yachts. More than 60 crews are expected to turn out for tomorrow evening’s race. Prizes for the Dorlon series range from specialist wet weather clothing and safety gear to engraved trophies.
