Suburban cricket teams
The Christchurch Suburban Cricket Association has announced its senior representative team to play North j Canterbury for the Minor As--1 sociations Cup at Hoon Hay j Park on February 8 and 9. The team is.— Derek Burrell (New Brighton. captain); Bob Kerr, Gary McManus, Barry Adam, Ron Johnson (Bowleys Hornby); Bruce Day, Jim Bennie (Hoon Hay); Trevor Paterson, Kit Chambers (Heathcote); Murray Hartland (Woolston W.M.C.); Don Braid (Vistalite Sumner); Robbie Withers (Richmond W.M.C.). The second grade representative team to meet North Canterbury at Dudley Park, Rangiora, on Sunday, January 26, is: Dave Malloch, Geoff Hay (Harewood); Richard Connelly, Graeme Clarke, Chris Hortin, Ted Pearce, Paul Stewardson (Merivale-Papa-nui); Danny Timpson (Southern Districts); Alan Newton (New Brighton), Colin McDonals, Rama Giff (Richmond W.M.C.). Players will meet at Dudley Park at 10 a.m., and bring their own lunch.
