Race crash victim still ill
A safety official who was injured at Ruapuna speedway six days ago was still seriously ill In the intensive care unit at Christchurch Hospital last evening. Mr Trevor King was struck by a midget car when he went to help clear the track after several vehicles had collided. He landed on top of the car’s roll bars and suffered injuries to the face, arm, chest, and back.
