Glass workers return
Striking glass workers at the Hornby factory of Crown Crystal Glass returned to work at 11 p.m. yesterday. About 40 workers went on strike on Tuesday because of hot conditions in the factory and the use of non-union labour. Mr D. A. Jamieson, gen-
eral manager of Crown Crystal Glass, said yesterday that an agreement had been reached with the workers which allowed a return to work last evening. The agreement included the provision of additional fans to combat heat in the factory.
