Princess in hot water over furs
NZPA-AAP London After vowing and declaring she wore only fake fur, the Princess of Wales has landed herself in hot water by ordering real furs for a new hat Princess Diana ordered blue fox tails from a Chelsea antique market stall only days after her lady-in-waiting declared that “the Princess only wears fake fur,” the “Sun” newspaper reported. The Princess was planning to have a Davey Crockett-styie hat made to order after picking out the furs, costing £3 each, the stallholder said.
“The furs are definitely real — they are from farm bred animals. I don’t think the Princess would have mistaken them for fake furs,” he said. He also said the Royal Family were good customers. In a letter to an animal rights group recently, Princess Diana vowed never to buy another fur coat
