The commun’cation between the VAX’s and a large number J. nation wide users Is provided by an inhouse network based on DEC LSI 11/73 and 11/23 processors. The network technician will be expected to be involved in all aspects of the network’s continual growth including the design of specialised hardware and the Installation of computer services to D.S.I.R. sites.
