Department GRADUATE RESEARCH CAREERS A PROGRESSIVE research unit based in Christchurch is seeking additional graduate staff who are interested in joining a team which is responsible for the development and maintenance of a number of key economic indicators including the Consumers Price Index and Real Disposable Income Measures. These indicators have wide social and political significance and reflect and influence economic policy. Applicants should have a good university degree in economics or in mathematics, statistics or geoeranhv with some economics. Other qualities sought are versatility and initiative, the ability to function well in a team environment and a high level of both oral and written communication skills. Previous work experience is not essential as full on-the-job training is provided. The unit Is located in modern central city premises. Working hours are flexible.
