The Personnel Manager Is responsible for the provision of professional personnel and industrial relations advice and associated specialist services. The Board employs approximately 6000 staff and applicants must have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Applicants will be required to hold a relevant tertiary or professional qualification and/ or have had significant practical experience in the personnel field at a senior level. Salary will be in accordance with the Canterbury, South Canterbury and Ashburton Hospital Board’s Clerical Award. The commencing rate will be from Grade 1 Special Step 3 to Grade 1 Special Step 7, the actual commencing rate depending upon the appointee’s qualifications and experience.
