Business support sought
PA Wellington The Historic Places Trust wants businesses to put money into real estate — preferably historic houses. The trust director, Mr John Daniels, says strong support from the business community is vital if the trust is to continue to preserve New Zealand’s commercial and industrial past. A new trust pamphlet invites companies to become corporate or sustaining members of the trust. In return for an annual fee, businesses would receive the trust’s quarterly magazine and the chance to be associated with trust promotions and properties, Mr Daniels said. Companies giving support would also receive certificates of recognition and free tickets to trust properties, he said.
