Crowd down by 1000
High temperatures had their effect on the crowd which attended the Metropolitan Trotting Club’s meeting at Addington Raceway on Wednesday. The attendance was some 5300, 1000 fewer than at the corresponding meeting ip 1985. On-course betting, amounting to $500,532, was down $28,793 on the previous year, but offcourse figures rose by $22,395 to $1,336,930.
