Clarinettist visits

The Goethe Institute is sponsoring a week-long visit to New Zealand by the clarinettist Professor Hans Deinzer, one of Germany’s leading instrumental soloists.

Professor Deinzer will be appearing only in Christchurch, Timaru and Wellington. His Christchurch performance will be at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 19, in

the Limes Room of the Town Hall. The School of Music of the University of Canterbury is associated with the Goethe Institute and, in the Christchurch recital by Professor Deinzer, he will be joined by Carl Pini and Susanjane Quinn (violins), Rachel Thompson (viola), Walter Godde (cello) and Maurice Till (piano).
