Tourism income

PA Wellington New Zealand made $57.4 million from its overseas tourist industry during April. Reserve Bank overseas exchange receipts, released by the Tourist and Publicity Department, show that the April total was 29.2 per cent up on April last year. Receipts for the year ended last April was $6Ol million.
