Injury healing
The New Zealand and Canterbury basketball representative, Gilbert Gordon, who was injured on the eve of the national team’s Asian tour a few weeks ago, is expected to resume playing in about three weeks. Gordon broke some bones in his right hand in final training in Auckland, and was advised not to play for four to six weeks. He is to have a medical examination this week, and said on Saturday that he should be playing again within three weeks.
