NZPA Tampa, Florida A vagrant was arrested on murder and arson charges yesterday, accused of spraying petrol over a busy supermarket check-out area and touching off a fire and explosion that killed two people and injured 16. John Bill Ferry, aged 30, had been captured while walking away from a convenience store in eastern Tampa around noon, said a Hillsborough County Sheriffs spokeswoman, Natalie Bodine. A customer in the store had recognised Ferry from a police photo published in newspapers after the firebombing at a suburban supermarket, Ms Bodine said. Warrants had been issued charging Ferry with firstdegree murder and firstdegree arson after witnesses at the store had identified him, she said.
