Obituary Mr S. F. Catchpole

commander of the New Zealand division of the Royal Artillery in 1957. In 1964 he was made an associate member of the Army Board, the senior policy-making body of the Army at that time. He was awarded the C.B.E. in 1966 for his services to the board. He was Auckland area scout commissioner for 15 years before retiring last year. Mr Catchpole is survived by his wife, two sons, and a daughter.
