Command continues to ease
Command Services Corporation continued to ease on a mixed, busy New Zealand sharemarket, after the news last week that the Crothall family would no longer be involved in running the company. The issue lost 20c to 530 c. Ernest Adams gained 40c after a recent good profit report, but Lane’s Industries fell a further 6c to 105 c after announcing a loss. Skellerup Industries firmed Bc. Trading in rights shares was busy; New Zealand Steel rights accounted for about 25 per cent of the total market turnover. Market leaders were mixed, reflected in the N.Z.U.C. industrial index easing 0.11 points. Fletcher Challenge firmed Ic, but N.Z. Forest Products lost 3c.
