use other claddings on request. The smallest standard range is in “mini sheds,” available in Colorsteel as well as ordinary galvanised “iron.” Next are the standard, timber-framed sheds, ranging from 2.4 m square upwards to practically any size. Skyline garages range in size from single-car units to
garage workshops and up to multi-vehicle garages with virtually no size - limitation. The studs are at 600 mm centres, so each structure is based on multiples of this, but the sizes and shapes are almost infinitely variable. Sleep-outs and baches can be completely finished, if the clients wish, with insulation, wiring and internal lining.
Insulated with batts and lined like a house, the detached structure can provide a quiet study or “den”; a comfortable games room; or a teenager’s sleep-out for eventual conversion to a sewing room or studio. More space can be gained in this way with far less disruption than would be involved in extending a house or moving to another address. When Skyline undertakes
to put up a building, the company takes care of all the requirements of by-laws and other regulations, and can still build more cheaply than the home handyman could. A total finance service is available, too, and the company can also arrange for all ancillary services, such as excavation, driveways, drainage, concrete paths and electrical wiring.
