A total service for adding out-buildings
Skyline Buildings, Ltd, claims to be the largest manufacturer in Australasia of garages and other outbuildings. In the nearly 30 years since the company was founded in Auckland, it has established branches throughout New Zealand and distributors in almost every other centre. There is a large export business to Australia from Auckland, and more re-
cently, a growth in exports to the U.S.A. The head office of the South Island operation is in Christchurch, where all the Skyline products for the south are made, and there are branches in Timaru, Dunedin and Nelson. The latest range is that of “Colorsteel” garages, which have a long-life, siliconepolyester finish that cuts out the maintenance necessary when steel is galvanised and painted.
The “raw” product comes from New Zealand Steel as big coils of flat metal which Skyline then presses, bends and shapes to use for anything from garden sheds to farm, industrial or commercial buildings.
