Doctor will answer questions

What are some of the likely causes of a pain in the neck? How do you handle the problems of an infant who will not sleep? What are the causes of indigestion? These are just a few of the questions which Dr Morgan Fahey of Christchurch will be discussing in “Medical Matters,” a new television series starting on One at 11.50 a.m. today. The five-minute proggrammes aim to provide simple explanations of common medical ailments, how they may be prevented and methods of treatment. Dr Fahey is well qualified to present "Medical Matters.” He is a general practitioner and is often seen on television expressing his concerns about causes of road accidents, especially among young adults. He has carried this concern to the youth of New Zealand by initiating the idea for the highly successful multi-media “Roadshow.” “Medical Matters” has the support of the New Zealand Medical Association.
