Pride of Rosewood to reappear
NZPA staff correspondent Washington Pride of Rosewood (Sir Tristram — Clandara) will contest the $lOO,OOO ninefurlong Beverly Hills Handicap at Hollywood Park today. The mare, bought by the Murty Brothers, of Lexington, Kentucky, from Mrs Lois Mitchell, of Palmerston North, arrived in the United States, in late May and immediately won a $lOO,OOO handicap at Hollywood Park. She has not raced since.
