Envoy to Tonga

PA Wellington Miss Priscilla Williams has been appointed New Zealand’s High Commissioner to Tonga, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Thomson, has announced. Miss Williams will succeed Mr John Brady, who will return to Wellington. Since 1980 Miss Williams has been head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Information Division. She joined the Ministry in 1961 and has served in Kuala Lumpur, New York and Bangkok, where she was deputy Head of Mission.
