In terms of Section 52, the Rating Act 1967, Public Notice is hereby given that in terms of the powers conferred on it by Sections 136, and 143, of the Local Government Act 1977 it is the intention of the Walrewa County Council at a special meeting to be held on Monday, June 27,1983 to make and levy the following Rates. GENERAL RATE A General Rate of decimal three three eight two eight of a cent in the Dollar on the Capital Value of all rateable property appearing in the Valuation Roll of the County of Walrewa. KAITUNA STREAM DRAINAGE DISTRICT Separate Rates as set out hereunder on the Capital Value of all rateable property in the Kaituna Drainage District of the County of Walrewa as defined in the classification lists adopted by the Wairewa County Council on the 6th day of May, 1960, and the 14th day of November, 1966. On lands classified in Class ‘A’ .000085 of a cent in the Dollar. On lands classified in Class *B‘ .000065 of a cent in the Dollar. On lands classified in Class ‘C‘ .000049 of a cent in the Dollar. On lands classified in Class “D‘ .000016 of a cent in the Dollar. On lands classified in Class ‘E‘ .000009 of a cent in the Dollar. On lands classified in Class ‘F* .000006 of a cent in the Dollar, NORTH CANTERBURY CATCHMENT BOARD Such Rates as directed (By way of Special Order) by the North Canterbury Catchment Board. Such Rates shall be for the period commencing on the first day of April, 1983 and ending on the 31st day of March, 1984, and shall be due and payable in one sum on the 15th day of August, 1983 at the Wairewa County Council Office, Little River, where the Valuation Rolls are now open for inspection during office hours.
