ANZAC FELLOWSHIPS 1984 APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED for Anzac Fellowships which are available for study or Investigation in Australia during 1984. The fellowships, which provide an attractive opportunity, are granted to New Zealand citizens having sufficient background of study or experience to be regarded as likely to make a contribution to New Zealand through their careers. Normally three Anzac Fellowships are awarded each year. The fellowships are tenable for periods of three-twelve months, they provide a living allowance of SA4O per day ($A14,600 p.a.) plus an allowance at the rate of SAII6O for a dependent spouse and of SA46O for each dependent child. In addition, provision is made for the payment of certain tuition and travel costs. No specific qualifications are laid down for Anzac Fellows, but where all other factors are equal, preference will be given to applicants under the age of 45 years. Application forms and further particulars may be obtained from the Department of Internal Affairs, Private bag, Wellington, or from the Department’s District Offices in Auckland (P.O. Box 2220), Christchurch (P.O. Box 1308), Rotorua (P.O. Box 1146), and Dunedin (P.O. Box 927).
