Chief Accountant Southland Frozen Meat Limited We have been asked to assist with the recruitment for this new position on the Invercargill Head Office staff of this diversified major Southland company. The SFM Group has substantial involvement in the transport industry, woolskin industry, meat processing and related industries. It has a turnover of around $l7O million. The Chief Accountant will be responsible for the entire accounting function for the meat processing division of SFM, both management and financial accounting. The position is supported by an experienced and capable staff across accounting, data processing and administrative activities and the Chief Accountant will be responsible for the co-ordination and efficient utilisation of this resource. Applicants should be members of the New Zealand Society of Accountants and have a sound background of EDP based accounting systems. Some knowledge of the meat processing industry would be an advantage.
