Ron Palmor R.S. PALMER [S.I.] FUNERAL •' - SERVICES ' ' ■ ' 6 Brookby Cres, Christchurch 4. Telephone 585-480 HOW DO YOU OBTAIN THE SERVICES OF A GOOD FUNERAL DIRECTOR? When a crisis comes, it is important that you don't have to think twice about whom to call on There are several ways of finding a good funeral director. With 9 years experience in the funeral business - 25 years in the ambulance and rescue service in Fiordland, Otago, Southland, Canterbury and overseas, we know personally a number of good funeral directors whose help we would recommend if we were unable to satisfy your complete requirements ourselves. Few people, unless they have recently been closely associated with arrangements for a fcoeral, know just how much assistance a good funeral director can give to help them through this unfamiliar and difficult period. In addition to his natural talents and dedication, he must be a person of absolute integrity, able to quietly and efficiently co-ordinate all arrangements and to be available to help if there are any matters arising at any time. His duty is to honour your decisions as to the type of funeral required. Remember that excessive and unnecessary expenditure on a funeral does not prove the depth of love for a life long companion. Because we feel that this question may be of value to many residents in the area we serve, we’re glad you asked. We welcome your questions and comments on this and other subjects— in private or publicly through this column.
