The toppled storm-damaged bull wheel and tension mast of the top T-bar ski-lift at Mount Hutt is examined by maintenance staff yesterday. The lift was damaged by westerly gales earlier this week but it was only yesterday, when the weather cleared, that repair work could begin. New parts are being made in Christchurch and if the weather favours the repair work, the T-bar should be back in use in about a week.
