ABERNETHY, Peter Arthur — On June 26, 1983, at Christchurch, dearly loved son of the late Beatrice and Arthur Abernethy, loved brother and brother-in-law of Dorothy and Walter Lestwlch (Dunedin), Grace and John Graham, Rena and the late lan Powell (Dunedin), Hilda and John Peterson (Auckland), and a much loved uncle; In his 37th year. (Suddenly.) Messages to 24 Cardome Street, Bishopdale. The Funeral service will be held in the Harewood Crematorium Chapel, 507 Johns Road, This Day (Friday), at 2.15 p.m. Lamb and Hayward, Ltd, F.D.A.N.Z. (Inc.)
