Organ recital

The assistant organist at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, Chris Archer, will give a recital with Gail Toth, a soprano, this Sunday at 3 p.m. The recital will comprise some well known pieces for piano including Debussy’s “Clair de Lune.” Gail Toth, a member of the Cathedral

Choir, will sing a set of songs by Roger Quilter, as well as pieces by Scarlatti and Schubert. Works for organ include Bach’s “Prelude and Fugue in C minor”, Messiaen’s “Apparition de L’Eglise Eternelle” and Widor’s famous “Toccata” from his fifth organ symphony.
