Child care grants
Grants of $2350 have been made to Christchurch organisations by the New Zealand Childcare Association. The money came from the Lottery Board to distribute to child care centres for projects directly benefiting children in those centres. Grants of $2OO were made to the Courtyard Montessori Pre-school, Motueka Daycare Centre, Sydenham Community Creche, St Gregory’s Public Creche, Hoon Hay Community Creche, Rangiora Nursery School, Civic Child Care Centre, and the Educational Child Care Centre. The New Brighton Creche and the Anglican Day Nursery each received $lOO, the Cathedral Square Creche $250, and the Linwood Community Creche, $3OO.
