Main events on the skating calendar this winter are:— July 5: Mainland elub’s 400 m track championships, Lake Ida. July 9 and 10: New Zealand outdoor 200 m track championships, Wairepo Arm, Twizel.
July 16 and 17: New Zealand outdoor 400 m track championships, Wairepo Arm, Twizel. July 23: New Zealand marathon, Lake Ida. August 18, 19, 20, 21: New Zealand figure championships, Centaurus indoor rink.
