Blackcurrant and Blackberry, now one week old, are two of the first early lambs to be born in North Canterbury. The twin black lambs, born to a Dorset cross ewe, Win, and father, Mr Sam, survived a heavy frost when they were born. The lambs were born on the property of Mrs E. and Miss M. Dawson, at Woodfields Road, Fernside.
