Government of Papua New Guinea —■ *• * • Department of Works and Supply Chief Draftsman Grade 1 Level 15 The appointee will be required to manage the Survey Branch's drafting, co-ordination and cartographic activities; oversee technical drafting requirements in Provinces; control and maintain drafting and cartographic standards; liaise with other departmants in particular with the National Mapping Bureau, to ensure co-ordination requirements a’e met and also with the Department of Lands, Surveys and Environment, Provincial Governments and Local Bodies on departmental land matters; and provide assistance on training to the Senior Surveyor. The applicant must possess a Diploma in Survey Drafting or Cartography from a recognised technical institution or university and have extensive experience in Drafting and Cartography.
