Advertisement til DR E. F. HAYES New Expandite M.D. arrives in New Zealand Dr E. F. Hayes has been appointed managing director of Expandite Limited, New Zealand. He succeeds Mr R. N. Smith who has been transferred to Australia as national marketing director. Dr Hayes holds a PhD degree, from Liverpool University, specialising in polymer chemistry. During his early career he worked in the Development and Technical Services Department and the polyethylene plant of Monsanto Chemicals in the U.K. and with the company’s polystyrene/ABS plant in France. Following this he worked in research and development for Metal Box Packaging. He joined Burmah Oil U.K. as technical manager of the Dussek Campbell operation, going on to become product development director of the Adhesives and Sealants Division of Burmah Speciality Limited.
