Linwood fire ‘suspicious’
The police are treating as suspicious a fire which extensively damaged a house at 32 Stanmore Road, Linwood, late last evening. The Fire Service received the call about 11.30 p.m. and sent two appliances. The C. 1.8. and fire safety branch of the Fire Service were investigating what started it.
Firemen spent about an hour fighting the fire.
