Poles seek permits
PA ; Auckland All four of the Poles who deserted the Frycz Moderzewski have now visited the Labour Department in Auckland and asked for temporary work permits. : ’ Three of them — the ship’s fourth engineer, his wife, and a seamen ■— visited the department on Friday.: The remaining seaman, visited yesterday afternoon.. They were not keen to have publicity or for their names to be released, said the department’s supervising immigration officer, Mr T. L. Hallas yesterday.
