Drivers’ Championship at Addington tomorrow

Graham Reaks will have only three drives on the final night of the New Zealand drivers’ championship at the New Brighton Trotting Club’s meeting at Addington Raceway tomorrow evening. Reaks missed out on a drive in the Firestone Cavallino Handicap, the first leg of the T.A.B. double. The second leg will be the. Cooper Hendersbh Free-for-all. V ' ’ The T.A.B. treble will be, run bn races’ five, seven and -10,. .and there yvill be T.A.B. quihellas on races two, four, five, seven, nine and 10. , Ori-course trebles will be run on races one, two and three and four, five and six.

The first round of the championship was run at the recent Cambridge meeting when Barry Purdon finished with 51 points, followed by Graeme Harris, with 46; Owen Purdon, 44; Henry Skinner, 40; Kerry O’Reilly and Peter Wolfenden, 39; John Langdon, 31; Richard Brosnan and Graham Reaks, 29; Robert Cameron, 27; Colin de Filippi, 24; Michael de Filippi, 23; Maurice Skinner, 22; and Peter Jones, 14.
