H| NORTH CANTERBURY HOSPITAL BOARD DEPUTY CHIEF EXECUTIVE AS THE RESULT of a promotion within the Health Services, applications are now invited for the position of Deputy Chief Executive. This is a senior position involving all aspects of the administration of health care services in a major teaching Hospital Board, as well as deputising for the Chief Executive during any periods of absence. The position calls for a person with extensive administrative and management experience at a senior level, preferably in the hospital/health service, and preferably holding a relevant professional qualification and/or university degree. The Board, which employs a staff of 6000, serves a population of 350,000 and the annual total expenditure is approximately $l3O million.
